Design and construction
A mixed-use residential development, comprising of 35 units spread over five levels.
We worked closely with the client to maximize the potential of the site, which boasts a picturesque aspect over Botany Bay. The units consist of a mix of two and three-bedroom apartments, each designed to take advantage of the property’s north-facing aspect, ensuring maximum solar access and natural light.
We carefully designed each facade to take advantage of the site’s unique orientation, with north-facing units offering plenty of natural light and distant views of Botany Bay. One of the key design challenges we faced was creating a building would ensuring privacy and security for the residents whilst also enabling each apartment to benefit from the views out to Botany.
To achieve this, we developed a unique facade design for each elevation of the building, taking into account the orientation of the site and the surrounding environment.
The north facade features abstract color palettes that provide a striking and contemporary presence, with repetitive formations being avoided to break up the facade.
